Licensing

Please visit the Licensing Gateway to gather more information about Licensing and the applications listed below. The Licensure Gateway is a single portal to manage licenses, permits, and registrations associated with the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy. It grants access to printable documents, change of address, online applications and is used to submit all license applications.

Licensing Reminders

  • Pharmacist Fill Up
    • Updated wallet cards are available by logging into your Gateway profile. Download and print if desired.
    • To request duplicate wall certificates, log into your Gateway profile and submit a duplicate certificate application. Note: A $25.00 processing fee applies.

  • Tech Bite
    • All Pharmacy Technicians must maintain updated employment information/status via their Gateway profile. Log in today to report your employment if you haven't already.
    • Create a profile with NABP at www.nabp.pharmacy. This FREE account provides you with a NABP e-Profile number needed for reporting to our office via telephone or email (licensing@mbp.ms.gov).

  • Student Sidebar Chatter
    • The expiration date for pharmacy school students’ controlled substances registrations is now set for one (1) year following the graduation date. Review your student registration expiration date; contact the licensing division if it does not match this guideline.
    • Notify the Board if you withdraw from pharmacy school, as Student Intern/Extern registrations will become inactive. To apply as a technician, petition the Board for permission.

  • Facility Highlight
    • Submit any changes to your permit (e.g., PIC/DR changes, address changes, business name changes, ownership changes) through the Gateway. Supporting documentation may be required.
    • For DR changes, mail your fingerprint card to the Board office promptly to avoid application expiration.
    • PIC changes must be completed within 15 days to prevent operational interruptions. Ensure two emails are listed on record for notifications.
    • The system requires the PIC to renew their pharmacist license to allow facility permit renewal.
